On May 20th, 2017, Millennium Chamber Symphony held a free community event: "A JFK Centennial: Americas Music for World Peace Concert" at Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center.

A celebratory “concert with narration” that re-imagined the music and iconic performances by the greatest artists of the time, including a 7 year-old Yo-Yo Ma, that have been heard in the White House. The concert also included the music of Leonard Bernstein, Pablo Casals, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin and Charles Ives and others.
